Earth Day Cleanup 2025
This morning, Let’s Do It Vietnam organized the Earth Day Cleanup 2025 event at Van Quan Lake, Ha Dong, Hanoi. We collected 240kg of trash!
The trash mainly consisted of single-use plastics like plastic cups and straws, and notably, many cigarette butts found in plant beds and pedestrian walkways. Cigarette butts contain harmful chemicals that not only pose health risks but also significantly pollute the environment. This highlights the urgent need to raise environmental awareness in our community.
The theme of Earth Day 2025 is “Our Power, Our Planet”, calling on everyone to take action to increase the use of renewable energy and protect our planet.
